Of the 27 acres, our lake (approximately 10 acres) has been declared 'wetland'.
    That declaration has basically put the 'wetland' in the possession of the St. John's Water Management.
    We are currently trying to negotiate exactly what we can do with the area in question.
    Apparently, this issue won't hinder our plans to build gardens, but does hinder our desire to turn the 'wet land' wetter by digging it deeper to actually expose the new low water table and create a real wet area called a lake.
    At this point we are continuing with the plans to fence in.
